How to Apply Blush for Dark Complexions

We recommend starting with a light application, and then building to your desired color intensity – especially when using darker or more vibrant hues.

For a long-lasting and multidimensional cheek moment, we love Patrick’s cream-over-powder application technique. Apply thin, even layers of the powder blush with a fluffy brush, layering more product for the perfect pop of color. From there, use a dense brush to apply the crème blush over the powder. Use a stamping motion to disperse the crème without disrupting the makeup underneath.
